Are you looking for some amazing dressings you don’t have to make, that have minimal ingredients and are FULL of flavor?!
Search no more. I have fallen in love with these dressings from Trader Joe’s. They are the perfect addition to salads, salad bowls, rice bowls and so much more. I really love the minimal amount of ingredients. There are three vegan and gluten-free flavors: Almond Butter Turmeric, Carrot Ginger Miso and Green Goddess. It’s hard to pick one favorite, because they are all so vastly different in flavor.
First, let’s talk ingredients. I have spoken to Trader Joe’s many times over the years about their ingredient policy. I love how strict they are and that all of their products come from their farms. These dressings also only have a few ingredients in each.
Main ingredient break down:
Almond Butter Turmeric Dressing: almond butter, cold-pressed lemon juice, ginger, turmeric and black pepper.
Carrot Ginger Miso Dressing: carrot, ginger, white miso, rice vinegar and shallots.
Green Goddess Dressing (most versatile): avocado, green onion, cold-pressed lemon juice, chives, basil and garlic.
How do I use them? Simple. I use them on anything I want to spice up and add a little extra flavor to. I find the Green Goddess Dressing to be the most versatile on salads. I LOVE the Almond Butter Turmeric Salad Dressing on rice bowls, stir fries and other similar dishes. Lastly, the Carrot Ginger Miso Salad Dressing is very refreshing and fresh. This tastes great on salads, especially salads with an Asian flare. It’s yummy with veggie sushi as well!
I always encourage my Mama’s and clients to get creative. Taste the flavors first and get a sense for what you think they will taste best with. For me, the Almond Butter Dressing screams warmth, while the Carrot Ginger Miso Dressing is light and the Green Goddess Dressing is refreshing and the perfect balance of garlic, chives and basil!
