Hi Mamas!! Oh. My. Stars. You are in for a real treat and SWEAT today!! Today, we have guest contributor Sharona Gaasendam, who will be haring her Postnatal Mama Workout that is sure to get your heat rate up and your motivation level at an all-time high. She also shared her inspirational story below. So without further delay… Here is Sharona to share her transformational journey and booty kicking workout!


My name is Sharona, 25 years young and originally from the Netherlands but I have been living the UK life for 3 years already! I’ve always been this super shy girl, not able to speak my mind, speak my thoughts as I was just too afraid of what people would think of me and afraid of being judged.

When I got pregnant I started to eat literally for two (haha!), as many of us do. Obviously, that resulted in me gaining loads of weight. Three months after I gave birth, I went to a clothing store, as I couldn’t fit in anything of my own anymore. That’s when I realized I needed a size 42…I used to be size 36. That day, I broke down inside of a changing room. At that moment, I realized that I needed to change something and started to do some research. 

Luckily, I followed this girl on Instagram who just gave birth as well and I saw her getting crazy results just from nutrition. I asked her to teach me the exact same things she was doing and one year later I’ve been able to lose 37 pounds, I’m back to size 36 and my biggest change is definitely my mental state! 

I’m doing free online boot camps, I have my own YouTube channel where I share my workouts. I’m now teaching other people the same thing I have been doing. I am teaching others to reach their fitness and health goals, to gain confidence and simply feel happier and more energetic!

What I have realized through my own journey, is that inspiring people is the most rewarding feeling I’ll ever get. Helping people, be the best versions of themselves is such an incredible feeling! Just by showing others that anything is possible and to choose yourself. At the end of the day, you have to put yourself first, so you can best take care of the important people in our lives. 

So for all the Mommies out there I’ve created a little “postnatal workout” that anyone can do as long as you have been cleared by your doctor to exercise again! Of course, you don’t have to be a Mommy to be able to do this work out! Also, a word of advice…Please listen to your body and go at your own pace and take as many breaks as you need!
